Corporate Partnerships

Make a difference in the Triangle

A message from Josh Haymond,
Founder & CEO of Beyond Basketball, Inc.

Beyond Basketball celebrates and empowers underserved communities by providing educational access and enhancement, and basic needs support to local youth and families. Your dollars will be put to good use as we have the distinction of being rated an "A" on Charity Watch.org, and frequently design custom collaborations to spotlight our corporate partners.

Ways we partner

Beyond Basketball, Inc. is a 501c3, solely funded by corporate partnerships and personal donations. Funds are used strategically within the community to provide the most impact towards our mission: alleviating the economic and educational gap of our underserved communities.

How we engage:

PROGRAMMINGOur programs are focused on leadership, STEM education, entrepreneurship, career readiness, community engagement, and wellness, both physical and mental.

  • We host financial literacy and entrepreneurship workshops at local HBCUs, and offer our corporate partners the opportunity to speak at or lead these events.

RESOURCES: We provide local youth with access to educational materials and opportunities.

  • Through a pandemic-driven ChromeBook drive, we have distributed over 700 laptops to local students (and counting!).

COMMUNITY: We partner with other local organizations to compound impact, and support local black-owned businesses in our procurement efforts.

  • We partner with the "Soul Food" Juneteenth event at Roberts Park, founded by mentor, coach, and community organizer, Poobie Chapman. Soul Food is a collaborative, community-led event that we use to offer additional programming and resource pickup, as well as to shine light on similarly-driven organizations.

Your partnership will directly impact the above 3 areas. All donations are tax deductible. We frequently customize our partnerships, offering the opportunity to speak, lead, or host any of our initiatives.
