Young people of color need us now

Though COVID-19 is rightfully on the back-burner since George Floyd's murder, the pandemic magnified disconnectedness, hitting black youth doubly - 1) questioning the value our country places on black lives and 2) lacking the structure from school, athletics and camps. Evidence Based Mentoring recently shared the editorial linked below, "Now is the time to offer solidarity and support to young people of color." It is critical we all show up how we can for black youth, at the time where they need us most in my lifetime.
